MECHANISTIC INTERVENTIONS AND NEUROSCIENCE OF DISSOCIATION  (MIND; R01AT012667)

This study, sponsored by the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH), involves the use of mind-body interventions to target attentional control and interoception network function in dissociative trauma-exposed people.

PHYSIOLOGICALLY-AUGMENTED MINDFULNESS MEDITATION (PAMM) CLINICAL TRIAL

We are testing a new method to enhance engagement in a breath-focused mindfulness meditation practice in trauma-exposed people with PTSD. We are also looking at how this new method may affect neural circuits correspond with changes in attention and interoception in people who receive this intervention.
